Good start, but needs work.

Ive been using SD+ on and off for over 10 years. Time was when you submitted a bug or feature request it was released within a month or two. That being said, Im not so sure Manage Engines execution is as well focused anymore. I use SD+ and a major issue in the formatting of solutions has been unresolved for over a year (making me wish I had not upgraded). This app was last updated 6 months ago. The app allows basic interaction with SD+ but falls short on many levels. Of all the should haves like being able to resolve the requestors email address on reply or being able to add a note, it fails even to accomplish what it is already capable of - the list of subcategories and thus items is not properly populated. Until Manage Engine/ Soho can find a way to develop their way out of the ever growing list of bugs and feature requests they run the risk if putting themselves out a market they have incredible potential to succeed in.

Unable to login

We have never been able to login to our ServiceDesk install via the iOS app, just fails authentication, even though users can login via web just fine. Annoyingly, ServiceDesk refuses to let Safari users login via the web from their devices also, keeping you from being mobile and forcing reliance on desktop machines/browsers.

HTML Formatting

This version loses the fix that was in 2.0.3 that allowed for the proper formatting of HTML. I have 2.0.3 on my iPad and havent upgraded and still formats perfectly. This new version does not. Please please fix this.

Tasks

Why cant you create or close tasks from the app??? I cant close a request unless related tasks are closed. A task is created on a pc by our operator, then I cant close the request from my iPad/iPhone when Im on site because I cant close the task.

Creds Never Work

Before and after the upgrade, I cannot login to our ServiceDesk implementation no matter what user/pass I enter. Normal website login works.

Im just as productive manipulating tickets in the field as I am at my desk. Thanks for the great app.

Doesnt work anymore

After last update, this stopped working and I just get an "Error : OK" Not updating or connecting. And yes, I am using a valid and active VPN session.

Disappointed

I disappointed because it doesnt provide Option for AD credentials

Issue with the current version

The subcategory displays the first item on the list as opposed to showing the value on the original request being viewed.

NOTIFICATIONS

Absolutely horrible application. Does not remember how you configured the sidebar when you log-off and log-on again. When you use the Pick Up option to assign a request to yourself, sometimes it will end up assigning the request to someone else. Also shows requests assigned to someone else when you log-on even though you are in the My Requests section. Does not support notification when a new request is created. Does not support an email signature when replying to requests like the website version does.

More Features

Please add the ability to search from the app. And also the ability to filter tickets by fields (i.e. Sites).

Missing features

Cannot add or edit requester. Each time you logoff you have to redo the sidebar. Does not auto refresh, you have to change the query to update

Old Version of SDP

If you do NOT have the latest version of SDP on your server then do NOT download this update. The newest version will crash. There should have been a warning in the update notes IMHO Robert

Since 4.0.1 Update

Thank you for resolving the issue in 4.0 with a domain error code after logging in. The 4.0.1 update is a welcomed change. The interface looks really nice and is easy to navigate. Thank you.

update is trash

the latest update solved all the issues. now the new ui looks good and the app actually works! i use this app everyday for school system ticket requests, and so much easier looking at tickets than pulling out my laptop every time!

Mostly Excellent

5 star review if the worklogs a are fixed!!!! Every time I submit a worklog from the app, it replaces spaces with %20 like its using URL encoding.

Awesome!

Its almost perfect! I need access to problems and projects.
